We can not hold inventory. In order to reserve for your event, a 50% deposit must be made.
+ How do I reserve items for my event?
To officially reserve inventory, we require a signed rental agreement and a 50% deposit. Orders may be modified up to 14 days prior with full payment due one week prior to delivery.
+ What does pricing include?
Rental prices include a one time use of items.
A typical invoice might include the following components:
- rental price per piece
- any extra services required
- damage waiver
- tax
- delivery/pick-up fee
+ What is a typical rental period?
- short term rentals (no longer than 4 days)
- inventory out for up to 7 days + 45% surcharge
- long term rental TBD by job
+ Is there a minimum order?
Local minimum order is $1000

+ Can I make changes to or cancel my order?
- Final quantities of reserved items can be modified up to 14 days prior to delivery.
- A complete cancellation of an item or cancellation of your event in total up to 14 days prior to your event will result in forfeiting 50% deposit. Cancellation within 14 days of your event will result in forfeiture of your total payment.
+ Who is responsible for cleaning & re-packing my inventory?
- For large jobs, our trained staff will do all the washing and sanitizing after use.
- For small, local jobs, a quick rinse prior to the repack would be appreciated, but we’ll do the heavy washing and sanitizing.
Inventory Handling for Long Distance Rentals
- All inventory must be properly washed and re-packed for the return trip, following Festive Frog protocols.
- Long distance jobs may require an on-site porter(s) to oversee clean-up, careful re-pack for the trip home, unloading and loading of inventory. Travel expenses will also need to be covered.
+ Is the repacking of inventory after use important?
In a word – Yes! We take great pride in our collections and work hard to retain the beauty and quality of our inventory. We ask you to please follow these protocols in order to minimize loss and/or damage:
- Please retain all packing materials, bubble wrap, foam dividers, plastic bags, etc., for use in the repack.
- Plates: please wipe off debris and take care to re-use the plastic bags and dividers while repacking.
- Please return all flatware. After use, flatware should be placed gently into crates, keeping forks with forks, knives with knives, etc. Do not soak flatware in sanitizing liquid as it will degrade the finish.
- Bar carts should be carried to location, not rolled.
- Please instruct your service staff to follow all of these Festive Frog handling protocols.
+ What if something breaks? Do you require a damage waiver?
We understand that accidents can and do happen but don't want you to worry. Every order will include a damage waiver. This covers reasonable wear and tear and overall maintenance of our inventory. If damage supersedes this amount, you will be responsible for the replacement cost at 4 - 7 times the rental fee.
+ Can you deliver?
- We are happy to deliver & pick up, with rates varying by distance, day & time of day, and size of job.
Customized Sourcing
If you are looking for ‘that special something’ and would like us to use our sensitive noses to locate and purchase for you – we’re game! $65/hour search fee + agreed upon cost of item & shipping will be included.
If we do not have enough of a given collection, we may be game to source more. A signed rental agreement plus non-refundable deposit will be necessary to begin the process. A surcharge will also be added above the normal rental fee.
Consultation/Design
- Don’t quite know where to begin and need our help, we’ve got you covered! Initial consultation in our showroom is provided free of charge. We are also available to help design your event, source products, recommend vendors & advise on menu selections. Hourly rate and/or design fee will apply.
Staging/Set-up
- If available for your date, we are happy to help oversee the service staff in the set- up of your event. This is calculated by size of event, amount of inventory being used, estimated time and number of number of individuals required for the job.
Portering
- If available for your date, Festive Frog ‘porters’ are available to work on-site, aiding in the smooth execution of your event. Porters work back of the house taking in the used inventory and re-packing appropriately for safe transport home. This eases the load of the service staff and helps to ensure a successful event.
- Porters do not take the place of a Damage Waiver.
